Thailand 90-Day Report (TM.47): 2026 Guide
Who must notify, current online timing, what happens after travel, and the correct distinction from an extension of stay.

# Thailand 90-Day Report (TM.47): 2026 Guide
The **90-day report (TM.47)** is a notification of residence for a foreign national who remains in Thailand for more than 90 days under a temporary permission to stay. It is **not an extension of stay** and does not add time to the immigration permission.
## Reporting channels
Immigration information lists in-person, authorised-person, registered-mail and online routes, subject to the conditions of each method.
## Online timing
The official TM.47 online manual states that an online request should be submitted **within 15 days in advance of the next due date**. Local Immigration guidance also describes the general reporting window and instructs late reporters to attend in person.
## Late notification
Current local Immigration guidance states a **2,000 THB fine** when a late reporter comes to report. Do not confuse this with an overstay fine; 90-day notification and permission to stay are different obligations.
## Leaving Thailand
Immigration guidance states that when the foreign national leaves Thailand and later re-enters, the 90-day count restarts from the latest entry for the next notification.
